The Board of Trustees is the highest policy-making body of USET. Board of Trustees also responsible for ensuring the highest level of educational and administrative standards at USET. The idea and initiative for USET have come from three academics of Bangladesh origin working abroad: Prof. Moazzem Hossain of Griffith University, Australia, Dr. Mazharul M Islam Rana of Bath University, UK and Prof. Bibhuty Roy of Bremen University, Germany.
